First thoughts on Clarisonic Mia 2
Today is the day 3 of my journey with the Clarisonic Mia 2 and I am giving my honest thoughts about it here.
It is damn pricey (S$220 @ Sephora) and also something that I thought I would never buy ever because i couldn't bear with the money last time.
I even got a cheap (less than $30) inspired set from Qoo10 a year ago and it was literally useless lol.
"Buy the best & you will only cry once"
Saw this quote somewhere and find it so friggin true, if only I wake up to my senses earlier D:
I am using it only at night for now on low setting to slowly introduce it to my skin and so far so good. My skin is feeling so smooth after each wash, I'm trying so hard to keep my hands away haha.
If you have done your share of research like me then you will know the initial stage of using the mia 2 involves skin purging/breakout due to the skin being unable to adapt and also cause of the deep cleaning which forces the impurities in the skin to surface. I spotted a disgusting pimple with white head peeking out but no my finger will not touch it because I will let my mia 2 do its thang.
I done my mathematics and find that actually it's not that expensive considering going for facials for 2 years will prolly set you back double the price you pay for this? There's a 2 year warranty if you get the Mia 2 as compared to the Mia 1 year warranty btw :) I would say it's a worthy investment on my part even though I have only been using it for 3 nights, I love the fact that even people with very sensitive skin can use it with no problem ! Erhem who happens to be me, painted the house and got an allergy outbreak wapianz -___-
I almost never stepped in to Sephora prior to this cause to me it was fanciful high class makeup that will break a big hole in my wallet lol. Once I stepped in, it's like I just wanna get all the limited ed holiday gift sets la, I swear they are so worth it ! Obsesseddddddd

My cousin recommended me this Tarte Kiss & Belle Deluxe LipSurgence Lip Set (S$49) and I love it ! Mini sizes are the best since I have tons of full sized lipstick that I will never finish using tsk. I have tried the colour in 'plum berry' (Far right) and it's a colour that i have been wanting to try but didn't dare to, it glides on lika dream and this is coming from someone who forever have dry lips. It is of matte texture hence it is not as moisturising however it doesn't emphasize the dead skins on my lips so it's a plus point :D
Since I'm having my school holidays now which is gonna end pretty soon, I am really cherishing my free time and I planned to go thriftshopping at the Salvation Army tomorrow alone and maybe to the library for my dose of self help books therapy and maybe pop by Sephora to find more value for money holiday gift sets :B
